Where Are We Going? ©
Penned by Brad Osborne
Hard to sleep the night before.
Always harder, not knowing.
With the rising sun we’ll leave,
I wonder where we’re going.
Machines both gleam, tanks are full.
A gentle breeze is blowing.
Looks like a great day ahead,
I wonder where we’re going.
Sweet air fills our lungs with breath,
scent strong with lilac growing.
Dappled roads unwind ahead,
I wonder where we’re going.
Baked by sun and asphalt too,
with all the heat it’s throwing.
It can’t get better than this,
I wonder where we’re going.
Twist and turn, the day clocks by.
The bond between us showing.
Don’t want this to ever end,
No care for where we’re going.

Sounds like a love affair between you and your girl.
I see where this could just as easily read as being about my beloved motorcycle. Thanks for reading and commenting.
She needs a name. lol Bianca?
I don’t want to get too attached. I don’t want to feel bad when I trade her in for a younger and prettier model…lol. Thanks for reading and commenting.
