Come and Go Β©
Penned by Brad Osborne
Β
As you go through your life you’ll find
most things will come and go
like the weather of the seasons
the heat, the rain, and snow
The way the children you may raise
no matter what you say
will please and disappoint you
as they grow, and move away
A job to work, a place to live
all things in life go past
and life turns into memories
as years go by too fast
The moments turn to hours and days
and weeks, to months and years
but life with you brings love and joy
where once was only fears
And so my dear, as time goes past
I’d like for you to know
that I will always love you
though things may come and go.

Beautiful poem on itβs own. Then read your blog about the overuse of the word love and it seems to lose some of its impact. Though, I still thoroughly enjoy your golden pen. Thanks for sharing your work.
