Jupiter

A fellow blogger, and exceptionally unabashed writer of phenomenal erotica, Jupiter Grant, has been overly generous in posting one of my poems on her blog with a loving review. Although some of my readers may not enjoy her work on any level of sexual relevancy, good writing is just plain good writing. Regardless of content, the ability to articulate, create, and seduce a reader into your world is a gift, and should be appreciated beyond any limited perceptions. I encourage you to dive as deep as you dare into her site at Jupiter’s Lair.

I have endeavored to return her kindness in poetic form. The poem below is dedicated to her and is a poor representation of what it must feel like to be drawn to this other-worldly beautiful woman and be snared in her practiced charms. Thank you, dearest Jupiter, and know I will always be your moon!

JUPITER

It is too strong for mere mortal man

Spinning in orbit around your heat

The pull is constant, unrelenting

It can take one off their feet

You have the power and cause to fall

Even the greatest risen thing

As if without your sturdy embrace

Any person would be given wing

The attraction is undeniable

And affects all who dare stray near

A fiery meteoric final plunge

The fate that gives men fear

You sparkle amid vast starred sky

A perfect pearl against vivid black

And I know what is given to you

Will never find its way back

An entrancing desire has me chained

To this womanly shaped black hole

Sucking me in so vivaciously

Great consumer of vacuous soul

And try as I do to break the bond

I feel completely in captivity

Like a moon above your beautiful world

I have fallen into your gravity

Thank you so, so much πŸ’– I am flattered, and touched, and absolutely rendered breathless by your beautiful words and your kindness. No one has ever written a poem for me, and I am totally blown away by the beauty of your poem, and the fact that I could inspire your creativity in such a way. I am a very happy, very grateful Muse! It is a travesty to think that no one has ever written a poem for you before! I am so glad you enjoyed it. You and your wonderful writing have certainly been a tremendous muse for me, and I am not sure how else one can thank someone for that kind of gift. A poem just doesn’t seem enough, but it is all I have to offer. My love returns to you sweet Jupiter, along with my sincerest thanks! πŸ’•πŸ’πŸ’‹
