100,000 Words
It is time to take a step back for a moment, once again, to celebrate and recognize a unique milestone for my blog. As with most bloggers, I always keep a keen eye to likes and followers and such. But the most recent milestone probably means more to me than any other.
Within this post will be the one hundred thousandth word I have posted to my blog since my return to blogging in May of this year. It makes me think that if I could keep my mind focused on one topic long enough, I could have written the great American novel by now. But alas, my writing, at this moment, is too eclectic and sporadic to coalesce into a novel.
It also reminds me how important it is, on this occasion, to thank you, my readers, for your continued readership, love, and support. Iβll be honest, without you I would still write. But without you, I would not have half as much fun doing it. I cannot thank you deeply enough for the support and inspiration each one of you has added to my journey.
I especially want to thank those exceptionally gracious fellow bloggers who have been kind enough to post my work on their blogs, re-blog my posts, or collaborate on projects. You are the truest examples of selflessness, and I appreciate you all.
So, with my deepest thanks and most sincere gratitude, I hope you will stick around for the next one hundred thousand words.
Congratulations Brad ! You crossed a great milestone. Wish you to cross many more milestones like this in future, all the best.
Thank you kindly Shanti! I hope I have another 100,000 worthy words in me. You were one of my earliest and most supportive readers and without you I may have not made it to this point. All my thanks!
Thank you Brad for that lovely comment. You were my earliest supporter too, I’m grateful to you for that. Pleasure is mine too.
Congratulations!
Thank you Miss Harley! π€
congratulations! I wonder how many of those 100,000 words rhyme? π
Thank you Jim, but I would assume you have blogged over a million words by now. I am still voting you the “Iron Man Award” at WordPress. Your dedication is shown in your commitment to daily posts, but the art is in your words. Even the ones that don’t rhyme…LOL
Iron Man or OCD – it’s a fine line! But I do appreciate your kind words, Brad.
Congratulations, Brad! πΉπ Here’s to the next 100,000, too. ππ
That is so kind of you Miss Jupiter! It is a paltry number for such an accomplished and prolific writer as yourself, so I greatly appreciate your sharing in my celebration. I again thank you for your sweet muse! πβ€
