Sparkles sprinkled in twilight skies

A blinking of far-away hearts

The moon reflected in your eyes

Chasing the dark before it starts

A cricket’s chirp dances tonight

Rose petal fragrance sings the tune

I am opened by your graced light

Like flowers to the sun in June

In faded glow of amber gone

As sun below horizon slips

Listening to your words I long

To taste the music on your lips

A beauty compelling you are

Backdropped by a sky full of them

Brighter than each celestial star

And stronger than any cut gem

I would ready give atonement

Keep the world from turning as due

If but to save this one moment

And bear witness to heavenly you
