Friend is a very ubiquitous word

Definitions a variegated rainbow

But here amongst my literary herd

It is defined by the support you show

If honest critique or glowing review

The connection spans the thousands of miles

And world feels a little smaller to you

Draped in kind words and emoji-faced smiles

Treasured gift given, your valuable time

Sharing our love of words and writing style

Blessed to have you visit here and read mine

I hope the time you spend worthwhile

I appreciate all the thoughts you share

All the hope and love you graciously send

Unconditional support is so rare

That is why I see you all as friends

But choice of writing mine or reading yours

I would most certainly choose the latter

Your inspiration blown on fertile shores

You the reason my words seem to matter

Thank you to all my readers, followers, and inspiring muses for all your kindness, support, and love! My journey here has been enlightening in so many ways!
