Alien
I have roamed through every land
Seeking that special one for me
Dug through all the dirt and sand
Bleeding hands and bending knee
But there was no sign of you
So, search did I the ocean blue
Diving vast briny world I roved
Not finding the one to keep
Searched each trench and every cove
Scoured the darkest and the deep
Unfound, unknown, I knew not why
So, one great leap into the sky
Tore apart each cloud like cotton
As I soared to the greatest height
My hopes and dreams the forgotten
As you remained hidden from my sight
And from the loft of eagleβs rook
I wondered where else I could look
Must I leave the earth that I love
Transit the most dangerous place
Find my one and only somewhere above
In the dark and cold of outer space
Maybe this is the most ironic pearl
That you must be from a different world
Amazing poem
Thank you kindly Abhin!
Some very lucky girl waiting to be found by you Brad..and surely here on Earth itself π
I haven’t stopped looking just yet, but I am building a rocket ship just in case…π

or a submarine…
I think it is everybodyβs dream to find the one. If we are lucky enough we do. But this world is a difficult place.
Hope is born of dreaming the impossible, then believing nothing is impossible, no matter how improbable. Thanks for your support Yasmine! β€
Ok this is amazing but I kid you not Bradiekins, I had an idea for a piece called Alien today! Our little project must have us sharing a brain.
This is one of my favorite pieces of yours. I am hearing the melody in my mind as I read it, and it’s spectacular.
I am not surprised that, with as much time as I have you roaming around in my head, you would run into something in there. I do think our project together has synced our cycles too. Thank you as always, little one! ππ€

It would appear I have taken the words out of your mouth once again. Damn thieving lips! ππ
You do have a way of doing that!
