Worlds Apart
Who knew that just six feet
Would feel like worlds apart
Who knew that human touch
Such an integral part
What is needed the most
In this time filled with fear
The warmth of our loved ones
And the want for them near
But we must stay away
To have our victory
With every passing day
The distance killing me
How I wish now that I
Would have held you longer
Then lonely heart might feel
Just a little bit stronger
I pray that this will pass
For I love you so much
And soon, my dear, youβll know
Youβll feel it in my touch
So beautifulβ€
Thank you, Niharika! So kind of you to say! β€

You’ve been nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award, Brad!
P.S. I’d written it before in one of your posts, I guess it got lost somewhere in your spam box!π
Thank you, Niharika, for your kindness in nominating me. I appreciate the recognition and thoughtfulness, but I rarely participate in these types of awards. Thank you for thinking of me!
No problem Brad, it’s your work and decent kindness that made me nominate you.

How beautiful and how romantic, Brad.

Gahh! You may have seen me use the term, I use it often, but ya know that warm fuzzy feeling you get in your chest when you read something particularly sweet, beautiful, or romantic? Well, I call that feeling “heart squeezes.” This poem gave me heart squeezes, Brad!! β€ β€
