Asellus
Aries the Ram and Piscesβ chasing Fish
And all the waters of Aquarius
Crabby old Cancer and timid Virgo
The proud starry lion they call Leo
Scorpio with its venomous spiked tail
The balance of Libra shown in her scales
Sagittarius with arrow and bow
Watches over the earth so far below
Twinkling light etched upon the darkest night
Beautiful twins of Gemini so bright
Then there are the ones showing off their horns
Bullish Taurus and his friend Capricorn
Our traits based on celestial latitude
The Heavens determine our attitude
Somehow our path in life is ready sworn
Because of the day on which we were born
We are imbued with certain subtleties
Portrayed as if fixed personalities
If these are the only signs that we get
There are people who do not fit that set
Ancient astronomers named a dozen
I think they may have missed one way back then
As starry night comes with the days that pass
I swear I see one that looks like an Ass
If itβs possible, they made a mistake
It may well explain all the shit we take
From the people that refuse to be kind
Born under the stars they never did find
I swear it is there just as plain as day
Yelling at all the others as it brays
Always ready to make a crazy fuss
Glows the Zodiac Ass named Asellus
