Celestial Search

Maybe I should turn to Zodiacal signs

For my true love in hopes to find

If I have not found you thus far

Maybe you are hiding in the stars

Twinkle, twinkle in the sky at night

Which one of you will fit just right

I wonder what the oracles do say

About the sign most likely to stay

I came into the world in late April

Born under stars of Taurus the Bull

Who do they say would be my match

What stars hold my love to catch

With Virgo I am most compatible

But finding a virgin near impossible

Maybe we should both have horns

They say I fit well with Capricorns

With Cancer I could take a stab

If they are not completely a crab

And Pisces would make a good pair

But I cannot stand the smell in the air

And what is this that I see

Another Taurus a good match would be

Compromise we would need to learn

Both born bull-headed and stubborn

Alas, the stars cannot help my fate

For love is not born on a given date

They are pretty to look at, orbs aglow

But where my love, they do not know

    out there floating, they are

  2. I take no advice from all things zodiacal, but it’s fun to read my horoscope now and again so I can plan what is NOT going to happen based on what is says WILL happen! I’m just glad you’re not willing to settle for Ms. Almost Right!

very clever, but it seems like you still have half the zodiac to check out… πŸ™‚

Jim’s comment made me snicker. Very cleaver writing my friend. I liked these lines:

But finding a virgin near impossible

Maybe we should both have horns

They say I fit well with Capricorns

It made me smile as I am a Capricorn but I am also as stubborn as a bull. Great title too.

Have a great Saturday. I will be sending a bucket of ⭐️ stars and extra planets your way. You never know who could be hiding. Love ❀️ Joni

  5. Beautiful poem my friend! And you’re right, love doesn’t have a date or an astrological sign…but the stars are amazing to look at for sure! Great work Brad!

This was fun! I loved it, but where’s the mention of scorpio, hmmm? πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜

  7. Amazing poem, Brad.

“I wonder what the oracles do say
About the sign most likely to stay”

Your second ruler is Venus. Find the sign whose first ruler is Venus πŸ™‚

  8. Now who come write a poetry on zodiacal star signs so beautifully. It could only be you Brad. Very well written 😊
