Sunday Morning

I can smell your coffee

As morning light dapples your hair

Blue eyes ensconced in the comics

And that smile that brought me there

~~~
As the early wren bids a tune
I pen the answer to another clue
The crossword is very hard today
But I am completely puzzled by you
~~~

Maybe I need some coffee too

I need to think more clearly

Concentrating is not so easy

When you are sitting near me

~~~
I fall in love a million times
Seeing you graced in dawn’s light
Or did I lose my heart to you
Somewhere in our passionate night
~~~

    Love is a complex emotion. I can see the man reading his paper as the woman moves about the kitchen. Lovely Brad. Love and hugs that a person feels covered in blue silk. 🤗❤️🦋
