Cling not to the past

The ancient and rusted

The long-held full known

Is not the most trusted

World changes each day

And what we always knew

Becomes old thinking

In days that are too few

~~~

We can see the new

Only with open eyes

And with youthful hopes

We can visualize

~~~

That change always is

Likely will always be

But not if we don’t

Change what we may believe
