Voyeur

~~~
I watch as you sleep
Each breath
Each rise and fall
With slumbered eyes
You dream a world
I can never hope to see
Your moonlit face
A pool of shimmering beauty
A refracted star
Shining quietly your light
Aglow in my dark night
Your raven hair
Paints calligraphy across linen
And lips draw to a girlish smile
Oh, that I could be
In the world you dream
With slumbered eyes
Each rise and fall
Each breath
I watch as you sleep
    This is such a romantic piece Brad. What lovely words to describe the feeling for someone sleeping you love.
    “Your moonlit face
    Shining quietly your light
    Aglow in my dark night”
    You are such a romantic. This is perfect and I love the picture you picked.
    Hope you are having a lovely weekend my friend. Sending love. Also sending my mermaid friends to make sure you have more inspiration for the weekend. They will take you to their hidden coves and dance with you under the sea. Love ❤️ Jonikins
    You charm me with every word. You charm me with every thought. You charm me with every beat of your heart. What a sublimed write, Brad. I will read this poem again and again. I will read it under the silence of the moon.
    I started to copy my favorite lines from this poem and found myself highlighting the whole thing. Each line stole my breath and left me longing for more. So good I had to read it twice. ❤ 😍
