A Passing Fancy

Just one look is all it took

For my world to fall apart

One small glance by circumstance

To capture wanting heart

One wry smile and all the while

I became lost within your glow

Met demise in soft brown eyes

That spoke of things to know

Nothing more was needed for

Heartstrings to be pulled tight

Speck of time, thin as a dime

A moment when all seemed right

Eyes so locked, a little shocked

That the feelings came so fast

Until I spied with wandering eye

The next beautiful young lass

I love this and it reminds me of how my eyes were so aware of older men when I was in College.

Really lovely and true. I love the end as it made me chuckle out loud. So sweet. Speaks to us all at one time or another. A universal love poem.

Sending lots of love, hugs, prayers and fairy dust. They place it in your eyes while sleeping and you will be seeing lots of young pretty things. So have fun. Love ya Joni πŸ€—πŸ’•β€οΈπŸ§šβ€β™€οΈπŸ§šβ€β™€οΈ

Haha! Beautiful women don’t understand the power they have to bring a grown man to his knees. Lighthearted, fun, and lovely, as always. ❀❀
