Silver Moon

It flows like mercury

Heavy and bright

A shining bit of silver

In the darkness of night

Pale shadows are cast

The grey ghosts dance

Your heavenly glow

Adds to the romance

Scented from above

Like jasmine in the air

The world goes by alone

Hardly seeing you there

But your forever pull

And translucent flight

Bound by heaven’s magic

Spells cast in your light

What would we be

Without your subtle grace

For love is ready found

In light upon your face

Yet, linger you have

As the lovers swoon

Under the light

Of a silvery moon

  2. Even though I love the sun, I wonder if, on sub-conscious level, I wake up so early so that I can be a part of the moon’s glow as well? This was beautifully written!
