The Ugly Rainbow

~~~
My eyes are red
From the tears shed
~~~

My moon is blue

From the missing of you

~~~
My sky turns dark
From lacking your spark
~~~

My grass grows grey

From your walking away

~~~
My heart is black
From the love I lack
~~~

My river is brown

From being let down

~~~
My mood is green
From the jealousy seen
~~~

My heart seeks pity

From my rainbow unpretty

~~~
    This is sad but beautifully written and a great use of metaphors Brad. I enjoy sad poems that are well written. I don’t think that is unusual as we can’t be happy all the time. Lovely my friend. Did I miss your poem Port of Call, I have been watching for it?
    Have a blessed day my friend. Sending hugs and love to you my friend. 💕❤️🤗🤗Jonikins
  3. Sometimes that is how it is…we must just move on…but, the poem, and I know you are an artist, is great, it sings the words all the way through. Wonderfully written my friend and all the best,
