Where Art Thou Joy

Joy does not have our address

It cannot find us by itself

No next day delivery

From an Amazon Prime shelf

We must search it out

Find it all on our own

But of where it is found

There is so little known

For different people

It hides in different spaces

And it can be found in

Some unusual places

Stop sitting there waiting

For joy to find you

It will not arrive without

The search it is due

There are no road maps

Or How-To books

But you will certainly find it

All you have to do is look

  2. Sadly, society is getting more and more entitled and thinks everything one wants should be given to them. We, the wiser, know that one has to find joy, even if it is only in a moment, and we must never give up searching!

Great advice! Create your own luck and joy. Stop waiting around expecting someone to provide it.

SO true, we must make an effort to seek it ourselves. Joy, where are you? I’m looking. 🙂
