Pronouns
~~~
What makes “you” and “me”
Become the pronoun “we”
And how do “we” find the “we”
In every face “we” see
~~~
Is it a grand illusion
Some ego fed confusion
A social dissolution
That holds onto exclusion
~~~
Differences are few
When seen in larger view
And “we” are stronger true
When “we” means every “you”
~~~
If together what “we” wish
Then each an accomplice
And as a catalyst
Let “me” ask “you” this
~~~
If “they” are “we”
And “we” are “them”
Then aren’t “we” all
Just “us” in the end
~~~
yes, we certainly are
Thanks Beth!
Oui! 😉
Thanks Sudra!
Pretty cool 😎 my friend, sounds like a rap, rhythm and strength, power and sensitivity wrapped up in a definite rap. Loved it!

You’re very welcome my friend!

we are so much more powerful when we work together…
Thanks Jim! History is full of examples that prove that true!
you are welcome!
Oh you are a cleaver one indeed Brad. What a creative and lovely bit of writing. Yes we are all the same in the end and we are us. You are brilliant my friend. I really enjoyed this poem Brad. Hope all is well. I am behind on my reading and trying to read all the work I have been missing out on. So glad I saw this. Sending warm hugs and lots of love always, Jonikens xoxoxox
Thanks Jonikins! No rush, these poems aren’t going anywhere. Love back at you girl!
I am glad I always enjoy your work. This one was so cleaver and it’s meaning beautifully penned. Hugs Brad, from Jonikins
I LOVE this one, Brad! We are all simply just human spirits and I don’t understand why everyone can’t see that.
It bogles the mind that we have no perception of humanity in a broader sense. Thanks Kristian!
