Sancho and Ishmael

~~~
Ahab had his whale
And La Mancha its dragons
Exquisite in the tale
There, the root of man
Born on steed and sail
~~~

Ne’er the fantasy

And much more than fable

Written history

Of protagonist pursuits

Man, no mystery

~~~
Fear the foe of fail
We tilt at our windmills
Weather every gale
Each has a destiny and
Each his holy grail
~~~
