Tuesday Tidbits #71

~~~
Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!
The best poetry does not come from a learned mind, but from an open heart.
I share in the success of every poet. This has never been about me, but about a beloved art form. When one is recognized and enjoyed, it elevates all of our art.
The true strength of a person is not found in the muscles, bones, or body. It is found within their words. Found in what they choose to say and what they choose not to.
In my search for words, I have had to venture into some of the darker places in my own mind. Though the things I find there may never make it to a piece of paper, their revelation is nonetheless worthwhile.
Writers rarely wrestle the fear of having nothing to say, but we constantly wonder if anyone is listening.
Poetry is to prose what love is to like. It takes a bit more commitment.
There is no trick to it. If you can speak, you can write. You just need to find out what it is that you want to say and a burning desire to say it.
~~~

Now get out there and write something!

    Is anyone listening? Writers are an odd lot. We worry about what people think of our writing and worry that they might not actually read it.

    I love all of these, but especially about venturing into the darker parts of your mind.
