Tuesday Tidbits #75
~~~
Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!
Real eyes realize real lies.
Although it is true that actions speak louder than words, sometimes we still need to hear the words.
We must always be careful in speaking our truth. Once a thing is known, it can never be unknown again.
As a writer, my world is made up of words and they have great importance to me. But venomous taunts and hateful declarations have no effect on me. The most important thing I have learned is when words matter and when they don’t. Your angry tweets certainly fall into the latter.
My words are never intended to change your mind, just your view. It is perception that allows the mind to change, should it so desire.
Sometimes we feel like our lives are just a set of train tracks we are following to some unseen station in our future. But that is not the case. We are sailing ships, born by the breezes at hand and steered by the helm of free will.
We see people in love with many different things and think nothing of it. People who love their pets likes children. People who love their money like it is air. And people who love their God like he/she is the only true one. But let a man love another man or a woman another woman, and we lose our shit.
Now get out there and write something!
Wonderful quotes shared
Thank you! It is my longest running series to date.
“My words are never intended to change your mind, just your view.” well said. that’s the power of reading a diversity of opinions. and it is strange how upset people get about same-sex relationships…
another great set of quotes, Brad!
(and very clever with the first one!)
Thanks Jim! I appreciate you my friend!
👍
a clever collection today. the first one is almost a tongue twister and the one about once something is known is so true, for good or bad.
Thank you Beth!
I cannot make up my mind Brad. They are all great. Thank you for sharing 🌹
Thank you kindly, my dear friend! You are always so thoughtful. Sending you tons of love! xoxo
I love Tuesday for its Tidbits
Thanks Geoff! I appreciate all your support!
Your last tidbit is so true. Our society is so hypocritical at times between proclaiming our freedom and then going about trying to legislate what is “appropriate.”
Thanks Pete! I could not agree more.
Another set of tidbits where I am struggling to choose a favorite. They all hit home!
Thanks!
