Tuesday Tidbits #77

Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!

If you set the bar too high, it makes it easier for people to walk under it.

Harsh words should be as the sting of the bee. Though the sting is a useful and painful retort from the bee, it is given at the cost of its own life. Maybe that would be enough to give us a moment’s pause before we speak.

I find it incredulous that the people most loudly proclaiming they hate drama, always seem to find a way to have some.

I have become painfully aware that, although we all share the same planet, we do not always share the same reality.

Being kind is not always easy, and when it is hard it is needed the most.

It is easy to procrastinate, as there is always a tomorrow. The problem is you are never promised to see it.

My only true goal in life is to be a better person today than I was yesterday. I do not seek perfection, just progress.

Now get out there and write something!

Love these. My take on the first one is, ‘if you set the bar too high, no one is able to drink there.’ )

    That drama one though 😂

we would all think twice if our harsh words were the last thing we got to say…

and what a great goal to have in life…

  4. Francisco Bravo Cabrera says:

Brilliant! The bar cannot be too high, perfect cannot be the enemy of good and you are right, we don’t all live in the same reality. Great food for thought my friend!

Good call on the drama. I tire of being around people who seem to thrive on it.

These are all great quotes and wise too. I like the one about the sting of the bee the best. I have a temper sometimes and wish I would remember to take a moment before saying things. Thank you Brad.

I especially love the last one! “It is progress and not perfection that I’m after” has become my mantra!
