Never Lost

~~~
I am not aimless
I am simply an ebb and flow
Pulled by the gravity
The moon of my life
One side facing the light
The dark parts facing away
~~~

I am not unsettled

I take the river’s path

Course charted by least resistance

Strength not by speed, but by distance

I run to the closest sea

Mixing the fresh with the brine

~~~
I am not meandering
I am an explorer of life
Meant to search out the lesser paths
To stand on rare ground
Behold the ever-changing vista
The world given azure frame
~~~

I am not lost

For I hold no destination

No preset mark to arrive to

I am alive every step on my journey

Each one a well spring of life

And any thirst is well-indulged

~~~
    Everyone’s path and journey are different. Whatever works for each person is the way to live.
    This is beautifully done Brad. I especially love these lines:
    β€œI am not meandering
    I am an explorer of life
    Meant to search out the lesser paths
    To stand on rare ground
    Behold the ever-changing vista
    I love how you weave this together Brad. You are a watchful eye. I do get lost on my path but eventually find my ground again.
    Sending love and blooming jasmine from the porch it smells so lovely.
