Tuesday Tidbits #78

~~~
Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!
Challenges are an important part of life. We find our own inner strength when we rise to meet them. The challenge is thus overcome, but the strength remains.
I would rather make you cry from the truth, than smile for a lie.
The words we write can reflect a great deal of who we are as people. But it is the words that never make the page that hold the deepest and darkest truths.
Lying is an ugly thing. That is why it is found wrapped in some of the most beautiful words.
Faith is what allows an unprovable belief to become the absolute truth. And any questioning of a belief simply becomes a lack of faith on the inquisitee’s part. And within this circular logic resides the heart of organized religion.
In the end, we will not look back on our lives wondering how we could have done less. Human nature does not strive to be minimal.
I do not expect to be wearing the same clothes, driving the same car, or looking the same age ten years from now. Why would I not expect my thoughts and feelings to change as well? Closed minds are the bell-bottoms of a skinny-jeans world.
Now get out there and write something!
    A brillant way to describe close-mindedness for sure! Great thoughts, especially about change and about lies. Fab!
    I do hope to be driving the same car, wearing the same clothes, and looking the same as I do now in 10 years! 🙂 But like your sister, I love the bell-bottoms line!
    But I prefer bell-bottoms over skinny-jeans, Brad! It is a remarkable line, though!
  6. petespringerauthor says:
    I especially like the one about overcoming challenges.
    That last quote is delicious and me at seventeen. That was a long time ago my friend. This are all great quotes but then I always enjoy your wisdom. You are a man with amazing gifts and intelligence. You are very special Brad and I am so grateful I connected to you through this community. You teach me things every time I read your work and you are right about a lie, it is an ugly thing. Sending lots of love, hugs and always prayers for blessings. xoxoxo Jonikens
