Paint Your Love

~~~
I’ll paint your mood in shades of blue
Paint my soul to be with you
I’ll sketch your lips in shaded tones
Draw your mouth upon my own
I’ll draw my arms around your waist
Then all doubt shall I erase
I’ll paint the cool rain that softly lands
Upon the crescents of your hands
I’ll paint the sun that warms your heart
With hopes that our love can start
I’ll paint the stars in the deep night sky
Draw their light into your eyes
I’ll trace your hand to hold mine
A touching kiss to mark the time
I’ll paint the truth, show how I feel
And try to make this completely real
I’ll use a brush so light and fine
To draw you close and make you mine
Absent are you, I don’t know why
Must my heart wait for the paint to dry
    This is truly beautiful Brad. I totally agree with Francisco. What a lovely pattern of description when you read each line. Perfectly put together and your words draw you into the scene, you can see them both. So beautifully done Brad. Five star ⭐️ piece. Sending you lots of love ❤️ Brad. 🥰🤗
