Everybody Wins
It seems nothing requires proof
And all we ever do is fight
We have forfeited any truth
In the need to be always right
History holds great compromise
When our fears are truly real
So, it comes as a big surprise
When our fears are all we feel
Brothers and sisters are we all
And yet, so widely unrelated
In the rush to our own tribe’s call
We leave all others to be ill-fated
Do we not share this perfect pearl
Our planet around the sun spins
If we see it as just one world
Then surely everybody wins
we are one. not more.
Thanks Beth!
Mighty truth in those words. If only the masses could hear and understand them!
Thanks, sis! You are the best!
why can’t we just get along with each other…
“We are the world, we are the children…” It was very well said before by Michael Jackson and now you have said it fabulously as well Brad!
Thanks my dear friend!
Always a pleasure my friend!
Win-Win. Such a simple and logical concept. But we just cannot grasp it.
Sadly true. Thanks Geoff!
Sadly, this is where nationalistic pride sometimes gets twisted into good vs. evil.
It did not used to be this way. How do we ever get back to something better? Thank you, Pete!
