It is that time of year again for the “Surreal Santa’s List”. The Surreal Secret Santa List is where we all list up to six historical, mythical, or fictional figures and the Christmas presents we would give them if you were their surreal Secret Santas. As an example, I offer my list:

To the engineer who designed the packaging for my kid’s new toy: Something you can’t open with a blow torch and metal sheers.

To Icarus: An altimeter.
To Shakespeare: A box of ball-point pens.

To the Easter Bunny – people who don’t mow their grass to make it easier to hide the eggs.
To Santa – kids who don’t try to pull on his beard as they sit on his lap
To politicians everywhere – a “must only tell the truth” pill that must be taken before he/she opens his/her mouth to speak… every time he/she opens his/her mouth. (oh, wait, that would actually be considered a gift to the rest of us!)
