Thirsty

~~~
You have resurrected the man
Saved a parched and dying land
Watered my world with wishes
In the rainfall of your kisses
~~~
Withered heart left scorched
Burnt by every carried torch
Finds, in you, the last refuge
Hope found amidst your deluge
~~~
Though some cracks remain
You are my respite in refrain
For I am the droughted plain
And your love, my blessed rain
~~~

a wonderful analogy of the rain and the droughted plain. I guess this poem was written in Spain… π

I not only like the words but the rhythm of this piece.
