Tuesday Tidbits #102
~~~
Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!
The greatest truths are heard in a whisper, yet it seems everyone wants to shout.
It is hard to reconcile our past and impossible to know our future. That is why it is so important to focus on the present where we can make an impact.
Time is not something you find; it is something you make.
Every seed holds the prospect of new and wonderful life. But it must be planted in order to grow and tended in order to thrive.
Money cannot buy you justice. But a lack of it can guarantee you never see any.
You do not need to “walk a mile in another person’s shoes” in order to have empathy for them. You simply need to realize that none of your miles have been exactly like theirs.
If you really want to get to know someone, you must first stop talking about yourself.
Now get out there and write something!
I really found something great in each of these tidbits. However, I do kind of hope that money can by justice…
Thanks sis! I hope so too!
yes, we absolutely make the time, but we often forget to do so, sadly
So true. Thank you, Beth!
Very good and important thoughts Brad, especially about miles, shoes and walking, so true…
Thank you brother!
My pleasure my brother!
Thank you, Jim!
These are all wonderful and I believe especially appropriate for the last two years we have had. Great wisdom there Brad. Love and hugs, Jonikins xoxoxoxo
Thank you, dear friend!
You are so welcome Brad it is an honor to be your friend. ❤️🤗🦋🥰 love Joneekins
So many wise tidbits of wisdom today, Brad. I wish I could comment on all of them. I’ll focus on two. Having empathy for others doesn’t mean that you have to have lived their life, but it does mean that that you understand their feelings.
While there is nothing wrong with looking to the future, I LOVE the attitude of what can I do right now to improve my own life or the lives of other people around me.
Thank you, Pete! I always enjoy the perspective and insights you share.
There’s a lot of wisdom in all of these tidbits, but my favorite is the last one!
Thanks Kristian!
I was really with you on every tidbit until I found out I need to stop talking about myself!
Luckily, these tidbits are served ala carte. You can pick and choose my friend!
As I always do. I am one of those Cafeteria Catholics!
