Tuesday Tidbits #106

~~~
Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!
~~~

Every politician wants your vote, but what they need is your money. Somehow, we have been duped in to funding a group of leaders that have no desire to lead anything but an argument.

Good decisions are based on the information we know. Inherent in any calculation is the unwelcomed variable of what we do not know. That is why every decision must be flexible enough to change with new information.

The success of a conspiracy goes down exponentially as the number of conspirators increases. The theories that abound today are just non-starters.

It is hard, in any medium, to replicate the range of expression that is the human face.

No matter how well we know someone, to think we could never be surprised is naïve. People are full of the unexpected.

We often wonder just how well we can know another person. The real surprise is just how little we know ourselves.

We have everything we need to provide clean water, food, and safe shelter to every inhabitant of the Earth, save the will to do so.

~~~
Now get out there and write something!
    your last quote, about taking care of the people of the earth, is painful to read, but sadly true
    I especially love the tidbit about how little we know ourselves. The last one killed me. If only everyone had the will. The world would be a better place.
      The last one is tough to hear, but sadly true. However, each and every effort, no matter how small, is worthwhile and sets a direction to follow. Much love to you, Kristian!
        It’s hard not to let the negative aspects of humanity weigh us down, but fortunately, the world is also filled with beautiful souls like yours. Although, they are few and far between. The world would be a far better place if more souls were as beautiful as yours. Much love back! ❤
    The last one spoke loudest of all to me. I just posted something along those likes too.
    Save for the will— this is sad indeed.
    We desperately need to
    attach
    more heart
    To the brains
    for without one or the other
    it will all be in vain.
    God help us.
    Thanks for sharing xoxo.
  4. Very true Brad, politicians are after money, and are capable of sustaining a good argument, but doing something useful? Hmm… Another thing is that you never really know someone, no matter how long you have known them… and I disagree about conspiracy theories, I love them! (purely as entertainment). Great thoughts as usual my friend.
    Bravo on the last one, love the way you worded that horrid truth. Many live lives full of naivety Brad I know you are not one of those folks. I wish some times I felt just a tiny bit less. Overly aware and sensitive!! Hugs my friend. Sending my love as always. 🤗❤️🦋Jonikins
  6. Jim Borden says:
    right on target with all of these.
    I remember signing up to follow a politician I like, and now I get a lot of emails from him, and each one is asking for money!
    and the conspiracy theories out there today are just crazy…
  7. petespringerauthor says:
    My favorite was being flexible to revise our opinions based on new information. That’s what thinking people should do instead of only seeking sources that affirm their position.
  8. Sometimes we know an old truth but ignore it until someone like you puts it into just the right words. When solutions seem impossible, I cling to the notion that trying is what is important. Politicians only seem to care about your money but so does everyone else. Religious institutions, charities, advocate groups, merchants, service providers, scammers. I grow wary of anyone trying to make a connection.
    • Brad Osborne says:
      I understand your trepidation. It does seem everyone is actively trying to separate you from your money. It is no wonder why I have become more than a little skeptical. Thanks, Geoff!
