Tuesday Tidbits #109

Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!

Blessings are always seen through the lens of the passenger-side mirror, where objects are closer than they appear.

Inner beauty is the hardest thing to discern. Outward beauty is the trap. We fall for what we see and yet do not know what we have fallen for.

Top athletes have coaches, psychologists, trainers, therapists, nutritionists, and all manner of people who help them to achieve their greatest efforts. There are no truly solo sports when everyone has a team.

The most valuable thing you can give to another person is your time.

Society blossoms in a balance between conformity and non-conformity. We stand as individuals, unique in our vision of the world, but bound by the agreed upon rules of civility and kindness.

Success is not measured at the end of an effort. It is measured at the very outset, where deciding to try is the real success.

We share one thing with any enemy we face. Our perception of the other person is very likely flawed.

Now get out there and write something!

  1. I so greatly agree that time is a valuable and precious gift. We get so busy sometimes in the day-to-day that we don’t even feel we have time for ourselves, much less anyone else. Maybe that’s why it’s such an exquisite gift when someone gives us theirs.
