Tuesday Tidbits #112

~~~
Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!
~~~

I do not regret my many failures. They are very important. They have always been the path to any success.

Do not bring a problem to your boss that you haven’t at least given some thought to a solution. It will help sell them on the idea that the problem truly exists, and it will show that you are proactively and creatively ready to be part of the solution.

Do not look outward for something only found inward. The something you have always been looking for exists within you. The purpose, the epiphany, the joy you seek rests in what you choose to believe and starts with believing in yourself.

Right and wrong are not always easily discernible. And things in life not always so binary. You cannot become unwilling to see the grey in a world full of mixed tones.

The one down-side of living very in the moment is the inability to make plans for next weekend.

Don’t judge someone who giggles at a funeral until you have heard the joke.

You cannot judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes, and you cannot judge the inhumanity of war until you have walked a mile through a mine field.

Now get out there and write something!

  2. TanvirKaur says:

    Great quotes shared

  3. Very true, all of these, especially about the joke! (LOL), and it is true, no one hates war more than those of us who have been in one…or two…and cane back. Truly wonderful tidbits my friend!

    Awesome quotes , Brad. Thank you 🙏🏼

  5. As I get older, all plans for the weekend become tentative! I do look forward to Tuesday, though.

    The tidbit that gave me the most food for thought was about right and wrong not always being easily discernible. We need to be open-minded enough to listen to others’ points of view because most issues are shades of gray rather than black or white.

  7. Jim Borden says:

    I like the humor of the penultimate one, and I am struck by the sadness of the last one…

  8. K.L. Hale says:

    I love every one of these, Brad. Each one has a “piece” of my heart and soul. Sending love and hugs. 💛🤗

    Brad these are really great. My confession is that I had to giggle about the mindfulness one. It is good to be mindful but everyone is reinventing meditation which in many ways is the same thing.

    Enjoyed the joke one a lot and people also act inappropriate when they lose someone they love, it is a coping mechanism.

    War – I have never understood how anyone ever comes out of a war at all. How people survive will always be beyond me. Great list as always.
    Have many women shown up lost yet? Sending big hugs and my love. Jonikins ❤️🤗

    • Brad Osborne says:

      Thank you, Jonikins! No knocks on the door just yet, but I am not surprised. I am pretty well hidden away. Even the pizza delivery person can’t find me. Much love!

      • jonicaggiano says:

        Oh my, sounds nice though. I like my privacy. As I get older the more I treasure communing with nature. Sending my love and hugs. ❤️ Jonikins
