It is no surprise we love firefighters. Much like law enforcement officers, they are the heroes willing to risk their lives to save our own. The difference is they won’t pull you over for speeding somewhere down the road.
One of the hardest times in life is when you think you care about someone more than they care about themselves.
Much of social media has become the Fun House Hall of Mirrors. Nothing but a lot of people with distorted images of themselves.
Do not let a lack of tears convince you that someone is not hurting.

Fabulous! The one about caring about someone more than they care about themselves really struck me.
That is an odd situation to be in and comes with difficult feelings. As selfish as it sounds, you must find a way to remain whole through the process or you can be of little help to anyone else. Sending much love your way!

#s 2, 4 and 7 all resonated loudly and are in tune with my thoughts. I have experienced #s 2 and 4 exactly as you state them, and when I am quietly sending wishes and prayers upwards, they are always for someone else, even though I’ve never actually done it with a penny in a fountain or wishing well!

I still remember our first kiss, on a dance floor with a bunch of other coworkers. From then on we saw each other and everyone said it wouldn’t last, we are still together soon to be 26 years. He was younger than me and most of our friends said it was a mistake, little did they know. I had to stop and think about the Wishing-well, I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever done that before.
