Tuesday Tidbits – #119
~~~
Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!
If everyone is special, then doesn’t that mean no one is special?
I am an organ donor. My beliefs and philosophy in life make this a no-brainer. However, I cannot be held responsible for the condition and offer no warranty.
Survivor’s remorse is like quitting a video game when you have a life left.
We find the beauty in flowers of every color. And even though they are all the same color, we find the individuality in every delicate crystal-laced snowflake. We find the power in every random stroke of lighting in every storm. Yet, we do not look on our society the same way.
Although I usually reserve dessert for my last course, I do very much appreciate the philosophy and apply it liberally in my life.
My passing thought, my one last regret, will be not having known every beautiful person I met.
Sometimes I deny myself small pleasures that could be easily had, just so when I do indulge it is recognized and appreciated from the greater perspective of absence and longing.
Now get out there and write something!
yes, finding the beauty in the unique natural elements seems easier for many people to do, than to find it within each other, and that is truly sad.
Thanks, Beth! It is sad for sure.
I am definitely guilty of the final tidbit. And I do appreciate how you state that we can find individuality among same things and appreciate that, but we as a human race cannot appreciate the individualness of others.
Thank you, sis! Love you always!
I’ve been thinking about that last one lately, how the pleasure you derive from something depends on the absence of it.
Thank you, Sudra! Absence certainly makes us appreciate things more.
Telling people they’re special, like children, doesn’t make them any better than anyone else and it may develop inside them selfish attitudes. Greatly enjoyed this week’s tidbits my friend!
Thank you, Francisco! I certainly agree with you.
You’re welcome Brad!
The organ donor quote made me laugh out loud, Brad! I’m so happy to be reading your Tuesday Tidbits! Love and hugs! 💛💐🥰
Thank you, dear Karla! Glad I could get a laugh out of you. Much love, my friend! Hope you are feeling better! 🥰🤗
You’re welcome, Brad! And thank you so much! I’m busy playing catch up,…I’m growing stronger, but giving myself grace, too. Much love back! 💛💚🤗❤️
You make it impossible to choose a favorite. These are all so good! I am terribly guilty of the last one.
Thank you, Kristian! Denying yourself something to exercise your self-control is not a bad thing. Denying yourself something because you do not think you deserve it is. Much love to you, my friend!
So true. Much love in return!
These are great Brad. I guess if I had to pick favorites they would be, the one about the uniqueness of things around us and organ donor. Love Jonikins
Thank you, Jonikins! Much love!
Coming right back at you. ❤️🤗🦋
Wait, no one is special?😂
You are the exception to the rule, my friend!
