Oh, the beauty of a single rose

In crimson gown and fragrant nose

Where sun and rain has given birth

To what lovely rises from the earth

In budded youth, so tightly clasped

Upon yourself your wings collapsed

Until the warmth in days of June

Brings the moment for you to bloom

Every day, you fill my simple world

With your red petals now unfurled

And I look on with great delight

For me, there is no greater sight

Flora in all its given perfection

Love found in the living reflection

In you, where my hope ever grows

Oh, the beauty of a single rose

You’re welcome my dear friend. I’m headed to Dr this morning for X-ray as this awful cough will not let up (my ribs hurt 😞)! But it could be worse. I must get it taken care of as I have board meeting and two school visits coming up! I’m staying positive! Sending love and hugs to you for good health and peace! 🤗💛
