Word Thief

~~~
I am a man of many words
But with you, I am struck dumb
There are so many things to say
But somehow, words just won’t come
~~~

It is hard to speak without breath

There is silence within the vacuum

Your beauty draws the air from my lungs

Every time you walk into the room

~~~
Breathless and brimming
I can but only stare
I am overwhelmed by you
A silence that is truly rare
~~~

You will have to read my mind

Find my thoughts behind the eyes

For I have met an angel

And my words, their great demise

~~~
  1. Such loving words for the woman lucky enough to receive them…
  2. beth says:
    lucky indeed, hopefully she will see
  3. Intense and powerful indeed, as is the breath with which we speak. Lovely verses Brad!
    For someone who has been rendered speechless, you found such beautiful words to describe the feeling! I agree with Beth and your sister, a gal should be so lucky! 😍
      You are too kind and maybe all a little bias. I may be fun to read, but I am hard to live with. Kind of like a mystery that does not reveal the culprit in the end. But I appreciate the continued encouragement!
        I don’t claim to know everything about you. I’m sure there are many things I don’t know. However, I still think you are far too humble.
      • Brad Osborne says:
        Oh, don’t get me wrong, I am quite the catch. Rapier wit, ravishing, good looks. honest, and reliable. And, obviously humble to a fault…LOL! And you likely know me better than you think. Have a great weekend, Kristian!
      • kristianw84 says:
        Haha. Well, I cannot argue with you, there! Have a good weekend as well, my friend! It will soon be time to get reacquainted with your two-wheeled lover, if you haven’t already! ❤
    Just say that you love her when the words don’t come. She’ll know the truth.
    Wow this is an amazing poem of complete love, and such fear of rejection. It certainly reminds me a little of Romeo and Juliet, even though their story is different, it just us. Hugs and love Jonikins
