Never Lost

~~~
I am not aimless
I am simply an ebb and flow
Pulled by the gravity
The moon of my life
One side facing the light
The dark parts facing away
~~~

I am not unsettled

I take the river’s path

Course charted by least resistance

Strength not by speed, but by distance

I run to the closest sea

Mixing the fresh with the brine

~~~
I am not meandering
I am an explorer of life
Meant to search out the lesser paths
To stand on rare ground
Behold the ever-changing vista
The world given azure frame
~~~

I am not lost

For I hold no destination

No preset mark to arrive to

I am alive every step on my journey

Each one a well spring of life

And any thirst is well-indulged

~~~
  1. “I am not lost, for I hold no destination” – how much richer all of our lives would be if we would concentrate on the journey instead of the destination….
    “An explorer of life,”—sounds like someone I’d like to hang out with.
  7. Brad, you are lost in the best sense of the word. I fear I am lost in the worst sense of that word!
    Beautiful writing Brad and those last three lines amazing. It is always a pleasure to read you. By the way every time I go into many sites since I purchased my new computer it says I am not following many people. So I hit follow again, I just wanted you to know I don’t unfollow anyone from WordPress. Lots of hugs, love and blessings coming your way. Jonikins ❤️🦋🤗🙏
