Let me be a little light

Into someone else’s night

Let me be the tiny spark

That causes blaze to start

Let me speak in words seen true

If it is the only thing I do

Let me be the song of lark

As dawn breaks upon the dark

Let me be the kindest word

That heals when it is heard

Let me paint a world less blue

If it is the only thing I do

Let me offer a love assured

Learn to give a little more

Let me see, only the “we”

In every face that I see

Let me give a hope that’s new

If it is the only thing I do

Let me be a welcomed sign

On the path so hard to find

Let me give more than I take

And love just for loving’s sake

Let me be a blessing too

If it is the only thing I do
