Everybody Wins

It seems nothing requires proof

And all we ever do is fight

We have forfeited any truth

In the need to be always right

History holds great compromise

When our fears are truly real

So, it comes as a big surprise

When our fears are all we feel

Brothers and sisters are we all

And yet, so widely unrelated

In the rush to our own tribe’s call

We leave all others to be ill-fated

Do we not share this perfect pearl

Our planet around the sun spins

If we see it as just one world

Then surely everybody wins

  3. Ah, yes! If we could only treat this Earth as home for one and all, without borders, countries, ideologies, religion and anything that will cause a distraction from our true path, the search for happiness… Beautiful poem my brother!

  4. Even within my own tribe, all we ever do is fight!. Hopefully I can get them to read your poem!

Every close-minded individual needs to read this piece, Brad. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results.
