Tuesday Tidbits #140

~~~
Welcome to the limited series, Tuesday Tidbits. A collection of quotes to provide inspiration, determination, and elevation. I hope you find something that brightens your day!
~~~

All knowledge is valuable, regardless of how late in life we learn it.

Love is not a gift we give away. It is an offering. We offer it and hope the receiver finds it worthy of acceptance. Only when it is well-received and returned does it become a gift to both.

I used to give people the benefit of the doubt, until I started to doubt the benefit of people.

You don’t always get to choose being a target, but you always have a choice in remaining a victim.

When you try hard to accomplish something and it does not come to fruition, it is easy to become frustrated. If you do not try at all, you will have very little frustration and absolutely no success.

I can count my close friends on one hand. Chosen for quality over quantity. Better a pocket full of gems then a chest full of stones.

We hoard the ephemeral things of a material world in the hopes to quell the hunger of our immortal soul.

Now get out there and write something!

    All of these are wonderful! The 4th one particularly speaks to me. Thank you for sharing the tidbits my friend!

    I love all of these! You make it so difficult to choose a favorite! The first two are something many don’t understand, but are true.

    I have been a target for many things and people, but I don’t see myself as a victim. I am a survivor! It might be easy to knock me down sometimes, but it’s impossible to keep me there.

    I absolutely love the one about close friends! That gems over stones metaphor is a real jewel (pun intended)! 😉

    The older I get, the more I become a minimalist!

    I love these tidbits so much!! 😍❤

  4. There is something to be garnered by each and every one of these tidbits! Thank you for creating and sharing them! Love you!

    Lots of wisdom here. I’m focusing on the thought regarding goals. Not reaching our goals is not a failure, but failing to have the courage to try is accepting defeat.

  6. Trying is really the smart option because you actually live with frustration even when you don’t try.
