Different, Not Better

You hang a sheepskin

And I sport tattoos

You dress to win

I wear jeans of blue

You wax your Benz

I, a stallion in steel

You have many friends

I, a more intimate feel

You sport your wealth

In a life undenied

I focus myself

More on the inside

Different as we may be

We share something true

I can only be this me

And you can only be you

Well said! Another one I’d share with the world if I could!

  2. Truth as old as time. It takes some of us longer to recognize the truth, but hopefully, the light bulb comes on for everyone eventually.
