I was excited when the internet created a truly global society giving voice to anyone connected. I am just surprised at some of the stupid shit people choose to say with the opportunity to be heard.
Speak love, instead of hate. Speak acceptance, instead of division. Speak truth, instead of lies. This is how our world will change.
What you see on the outside is the prison I have built to hide my demons.
I do not hide my emotions because I think you cannot handle them. I hide them because I am not sure I can.
Military success is much more assured by its culture. Success is easier when those involved are literally willing to die trying.
If you are not moved by the tears of a child, you cannot be moved.
Being accepted and understood is a blessing, but not a requirement. And it never should be. Be you, period.

Once again I am in awe and love with every single tidbit! I couldn’t agree more with the first and second tidbits. The third and fourth ones made me want to hug you. I will forever be grateful for the sacrifices made by our military men and women! I do not understand how anyone cannot be moved by the tears of a child. Oh, the last one is usually high on my list of favorites! I am blessed to have been accepted by many, though few understand me.

The first tidbit is so spot-on that it needs no response. The one about hiding your emotions hurts my heart because of the truth of those words I believe about you. Nonetheless, I’m going to keep chipping away at that wall and looking for a way inside.
