Gifted Reminder

~~~
Five rounded rocks stacked neatly
In sparse random parking lot
A Zen struck so completely
In this unusual spot
~~~

Who with great care took the time

Kneeling in this busy place

To erect this token shrine

Bringing balance to this space

~~~
Reminded each time I look
A life that is much kinder
Grateful for the time they took
Gifted daily reminder
    I absolutely love stumbling upon treasured finds like this. someone cared and took the time, and left it for the benefit of others they would never see, maybe just when they needed to find it. powerful mojo here. always in the simplest of things
    This is another item on my list I have never seen but always hoped to. I have watched tutorials on how to stack them, and have thought about trying it at a nearby lake. I imagine the act of stacking them would be very zen.
    I love those random little things we stumble across that someone purposefully left for us to find, though. It really is the little things in life that mean the most. A reminder that there is still kindness in the world. It is refreshing. It is a little Gene Kelly singing in the rain! Beautifully articulated, my dear friend!
    I love when I find something like this too! It’s fun to imagine the person who would do it and why.
