Steel glows a cherried red glare,
Smith tosses sparks blow freed…

Is the day soon coming for the poet,
When they will be replaced by AI?

But Paper and Ink

But, alas, the poet is not given such things,
Our words in short rows is all we can bring…

An Ode to Form

So, forgive us the forms we hold,
And the lilting words given phrase…

Blessings of the Palette

Then with their gracious, giving heart,
Expressions laced within their art…

Watercolor

The pastels and the subtle shades,
Of sailing ship and foaming waves…

Patron of the Arts

You pull your skirt as if too short,
You already knew the hem line,
A feigned chastity of some sort,
Above a pair of heels divine.

Unedited

God forbid we ever be revised,
In the journey to masterpiece,
Polish is not needed in the least,
If perfection has been surmised.

The Craft

I threw a dictionary onto potter’s wheel,
And watched as the words turned…

Rtistic

I speak my heart out.
