A Passing Fancy

Just one look is all it took,
For my world to fall apart,
One small glance by circumstance,
To capture wanting heart…

Voyeur

Aglow in my dark night,
Your raven hair,
Paints calligraphy across linen…

Absence Undone

How is distance measured,
When like the moon,
Thoughts of you break upon my shore…

Sunday Morning

I can smell your coffee,
As morning light dapples your hair…

Train Tracks

The train tracks stretch for miles,
Steel and stone making the way…

It’s God’s Fault

The gulls sing their love on evening air,
Those loving eyes above freckled cheek…

But Paper and Ink

But, alas, the poet is not given such things,
Our words in short rows is all we can bring…

Murderous Poetess

For little does she know the depth,
To which her subtle words in breath…

Cut Flowers

Sitting there in the morning air,
Our table graced by your perfume…
