Our innocence is not sacrosanct,
But a brief moment in our childhood,
Where emulated heroes are thanked,
For conceptualized bad and good.
With treasured treats and tricks well-played
We review our haul and make a grade
For those we deem fit for trade
Chocolatier’s dreams on parade
Embracing imperfection with faith, flannel, & fresh air
Faith saved us from the savages that we were, losing faith makes us savages again
