‘Twas the Night Before Covid Christmas

‘Twas the night before Christmas, 2020 the year,
The days were blurring with pandemic fear;

Little Bird

We must dare to stand on edge,
And unfurl our tiny wings…

Creating Dreams

We tell our teens,
“For you there is no limit”,
For fear their dreams,
May somehow be diminished.

The Learned

Our innocence is not sacrosanct,
But a brief moment in our childhood,
Where emulated heroes are thanked,
For conceptualized bad and good.

A Child’s Halloween

With treasured treats and tricks well-played
We review our haul and make a grade
For those we deem fit for trade
Chocolatier’s dreams on parade

Snowflakes

We tell them they are all snowflakes
Each unique in form and structure
