It’s the Little Things – Editorial

It’s the little things, like having a dream. Not in the broad sense of some grand hope for your life, but in the literal sense of dreaming while you sleep.

Winds of Change

There are smallish moments,
When our lives seem to exhale…

Lover’s Lullaby

Let twilight fall into night,
And I will hold you near…

Winter Dreams

Leaves fall like flakes of gold and bronze,
Tumbling through the cool autumn air…

My Lullaby

Though our lips have never met,
I have kissed you a million times,
For each time that I have slept,
I partake of you in my mind.

Bombed Out

Thoughts fall like bombs,
Rippling the plane of my existence…

Take Me Back

It had been months since I laid eyes on her,
Though I saw her often in my dreams…

Island Rains

Raindrops unwind down palm leaves,
Washing little dreams to ground…

Unprotected

Scars do not protect a heart,
Old wounds are oft renewed…

Fallow Field

Our minds are like the fallow field,
Overgrown when left on their own…
