Looking Back

If given some say by would be fate,
Change things in my life, a second chance,
An opportunity to skew my current state,
And in some small way my life enhance.

Winds of Change

There are smallish moments,
When our lives seem to exhale…

Hourglass

The hourglass of life filled with granular moments…

Vessel

Witnessed by angelic eyes,
A loving son still survives…

The Abyss

Each small step we take in life,
Leads to an unseen abyss

As Much As I Loved You

Where what was held sway,
Over what could be next…

My Two Hands

The air hangs like a traitor,
Motionless and well dead,
A raucous silence…

Immortalized

We laugh in the face of death, we own forever,
For we have been written down, long penned…

Reincarnate

I have been here before,
Not a random déjà vu,
A sense of being past,
Rooted in something true…

Alive

Moments stretch like taffy,
Sugary sweet and long,
Stillness pervades the spirit,
Each breath a connection…
