Polished

You have a Jaguar body,
With a Pinto heart,
Beautiful lines,
But hard to start…

Both Hands

I give it to you,
Bloody and beating,
This love so blue,
Still retreating…

Unprotected

Scars do not protect a heart,
Old wounds are oft renewed…

Lucky I

It is there,
Among dappled sunlight,
Twinkling the scent of violets,
On one of those forever days…

It Is Forever

It is forever long,
This finite moment,
This breath of air,
This life sweet…

The Fall

I cannot warn you from the fall,
As wingless born, we all must fly…

Absence Undone

How is distance measured,
When like the moon,
Thoughts of you break upon my shore…

Where Love Blooms

The antiquity of binary thought,
Love bound to gender and the hate it brought…

Old Stones, New Wall

No hidden lie or fear kept dark,
Soul flayed to a bloody peeled view,
Yet, as I gave myself away,
My secrets turned to weapons true…

No Need

Translucent dreams need no sleep,
No shuttered eyes to vision keep…
